Computational thinking workshop at DePaul

by Amber Settle 2. May 2010 05:14

If anyone reading this is interested in learning more about computational thinking, I encourage you to attend a workshop for the “Computational Thinking across the Curriculum” project.  The workshop is scheduled for Friday, June 11, 2010 from 9 am until 3:30 pm at the College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University.  At this workshop we will exchange ideas about methods to incorporate computational thinking across the general education curriculum and brainstorm about how to move beyond the initial NSF-funded project.

If you wish to attend the workshop, please register by Friday, May 28th.  Registration is done online here: http://www.regonline.com/compthink

The tentative program for the workshop can be found here: http://compthink.cs.depaul.edu/workshop.html

We hope that you will take the opportunity to join us as we review the work we and our colleagues have completed for this project and think about how this work can be extended.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (asettle@cdm.depaul.edu) or the co-PI for the project, Ljubomir Perković (lperkovic@cs.depaul.edu) .
